The Black Impala, found in very few places in Africa, is an extremely rare type. These animals can form large breeding herds of up to 100 individuals, but usually only congregate in groups of 20 or so. A recessive gene causes the black colouration. | ||

Activity in the Golden Wildebeest is concentrated in the morning and late afternoon, with the hot middle hours of the day being spent resting. Despite their awkward appearance, gnu are extremely agile. When alarmed, they will prance about, waving their tails and pawing the ground. If a potential threat approaches close enough, they will run for a short distance then turn back to reassess the situation, repeating the situation as needed. When pressed they have been clocked running over 80 kmph / mph. Adult males are territorial, and may occupy their territories for a few weeks or for the entire year. When possible, they will drink twice daily. | ||

White Blesbuck is a rare African Plains Game animal. The horns have a light blondish colour and the trophy of the White Blesbuck makes a beautiful and very unique mount. They are herd animals and will be found with the common blesbuck, but breeding by the White Blesbuck rams with common blesbuck that carry the White genes will produce White Blesbuck offspring. | ||
